Genealogy

Due to the fact that my interest in Bible reading and its related topics of study and memorization have taken up much of the space on this blog I have created a separate genealogy blog where I can discuss research in more depth. You can find that blog Past Times are my Pastime at http://pasttimespastime.wordpress.com. Stop by and chat with me about my family tree.

The Mayflower roots of Daniel Crossman found here.

How the search for Matilda Tewksbury in Ohio death records teaches several skill concepts is found here.

Finding Terrill Thompson in Kentucky death records using colloquial speech and spelling is found here.

Combined in one post to show that information about ancestors found in publication may not be enough to constitute proof for membership in lineage societies even if a chapter of the society publishes the book. The reasons for this are discussed using two of my ancestors as examples. That post is found here.
