Blind Love & Blessings (Alopecia Articles)

TABLE OF CONTENTS

When I was 29 years old I began to be afflicted with the autoimmune disorder called Alopecia Areata. At first it was devastating to me as it affected my emotional and spiritual health as well as my physical appearance. The disorder progressed to Alopecia Universalis when I was in my mid-40s. Although it still affects me greatly I have learned how to cope in extraordinary ways and as a result I cope very well with it.

I credit this disease with teaching me many lessons on life and love. That's why I can praise God for this affliction. Without it I would never have learned what "Blind Love" really means!

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
